Registration for the 2025 season is now open!

Our all-volunteer board is already hard at work preparing for a great 2025 season for all our players and families and we can’t wait to see our baseball, softball and tee ball players on the field this spring. Practices for AAA and older divisions begin in February, and younger teams start in March.  We’re excited to welcome even more players to the Ballard ballfields this spring, so please feel free to share this with friends and neighbors.

Free training: Winter training in both baseball and softball for divisions AA and older starts in January, offering players an opportunity to sharpen skills before the season kicks off! The free indoor training is on Saturdays, starting January 4 through February 15. You must be registered by Dec. 31 to sign up for winter training. More details to follow after registration. We will offer early season and mid-season training opportunities as well.

Why Choose Ballard Little League? For 71 years, Ballard Little League has been teaching baseball and softball skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork. We take pride in creating a positive environment where players of all levels can enjoy the game with friends, classmates, and neighbors.

Volunteer with BLL - A Rewarding Experience:  Please consider volunteering this year! We need coaches, umpires and still have a few board positions open. All teams are coached by dedicated volunteers—if you’re able, please consider signing up to coach or umpire. Your support helps make this league possible! Learn more about volunteering here.

Divisions and Team Formation Ballard Little League offers baseball and softball for ages 5-16 at all skill levels. If your player falls within a range for multiple divisions, choose the level that best matches their abilities. If your player is over league age 7, remember to confirm their eligibility by checking that you live within Ballard’s boundary.

Younger divisions are built around school, grade, and friend requests. We are also asking for a little additional information about your child’s experience to help create equitable teams in our division. Our  older divisions (AAA and up) have skill assessments to ensure balanced, fun teams.

Visit our website for more details, and let’s make the 71st season unforgettable. We look forward to seeing you and your players at the ballpark!

Thank you for being a part of Ballard Little League!
