Summer Ball is the perfect way for your player to stay on the diamond, sharpen their skills, and most importantly, have a blast! Summer Ball is designed to be flexible with your family’s schedule - no weekend commitment and no big deal if you miss a few games!

Here’s what you need to know:

·       Registration opens June 1st

·       Games kick off after July 4th and run for 4-6 weeks (we aim for 6

·       weeks, but this largely depends on field availability)

·       1-2 games during the week, no practices, and no weekend games

·       Larger rosters mean it’s cool to miss a few games for vacations, etc.

Divisions Offered:

Baseball

·       AAA: For kids planning to play in AAA next year, currently in AA or AAA (generally Little League age 9-10 or League Age 8 if ready for player pitch or played AA this season).

·       Majors: For kids aiming for Majors next year, currently in AAA or Majors (LL age 10-11).

Softball

·       AAA: For kids planning to play in AAA next year, currently in AA or AAA (usually Little League age 8-10)

·       Majors: For kids aiming for Majors next year, currently in AAA or Majors (LL age 10-11).

We encourage players to “play up” to the division they plan to join next year. It’s a great chance to get comfortable at a higher level in a relaxed setting.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer AA summer ball as we do not have the field space to support. However, NW Little League offers a AA summer ball program!

We also need volunteer coaches (at least one coach per team) to make this happen. It’s a fun, low-key way to support the league with a small time commitment. We can’t run Summer Ball without you, so please consider if you might have time to coach a great group of kids!
