All Star Baseball is open to:

* All players who are league age 8-12 and who have played in at least eight games this season. 
* Players who reside in our Ballard Little League zone (will need proof of residence)

* Players and families who can commit to evening/weekend practices and games in June and July (if you have a vacation or weekend away scheduled, please consider signing up next year instead)

* Players who want to play more baseball in a competitive environment and have fun!

Tryouts details:

Sunday, May 21st

Ages 8-10 at Gilman Field 2 from 2-3:30 p.m.
Ages 11-12 at Gilman Field 2 from 3:30-5 p.m.

Parents are welcome to stay or drop off. Players need to bring their own gear and water.
Note: if you cannot make tryouts but do have an interest, please sign up on the tryout sheet and note your interest but absence for that Sunday. If there is enough interest we might have a makeup date or other screening.

The baseball coaches and the board are considering fielding teams at the Majors, 11U and 10U levels (ages based on league age, not actual age). We are aware that our 11U and 12U age cohorts could be a challenge due to the size of that cohort who may want to participate. We will find as many players for an All Star home team as possible. If there is a lot of interest we have  “co-leagued” with another nearby league to field additional teams.

We encourage all interested players to sign up for tryouts! All Stars is a fun little league tradition as we come together as one Ballard team and compete against our neighboring leagues this summer.
