Sign up for free Hitting/Pitching Clinics for BLL

Ballard Little League is once again teaming up with Coach Mark Linden of Baseball Positive to offer our players the amazing opportunity to work on batting (both baseball and softball) and pitching (baseball) in March.

Coach Mark is a former professional player and NCAA Division I Head Coach. He brings professional and college level experience, coupled with more than a decade of coaching little league age 12 and under Baseball/Softball, to BLL families.

The one-hour clinics run for two days and are open to the AA division (age 8) and up. One clinic will be March 1 and March 8, and a second clinic will be March 6 and March 13. All clinics will be held during one-hour slots between 5:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. at the Ballard Community Center (BCC) field.

There are 20 slots for each session. For the pitching sessions, each registered child must bring an adult to catch.

These sessions teach the entire pitching delivery and batting swing.  Day 1 lays the foundations; Day 2 reinforces fundamentals and adds final pieces. Along with on-field instruction, each participant receives program notes prior to each session and an Instruction Guide at the conclusion of the program.

Register here for either batting, pitching or both:

Pitching

Teaches all aspects of an efficient, powerful, and accurate delivery.

This is an Adult-Child program.  All kids pitch at the same time; each player MUST bring an adult with them to catch their pitches. Following the first session you and your child receive review notes and drills for practicing between the two sessions.

Batting

Teaches how to use the entire body to maximize power and bat speed for a consistent, accurate swing.

Parents and coaches are strongly encouraged to attend; kids behave better. Even the most experienced coach will become more effective working with their team. Following the first session you and your child receive review notes and drills for practicing between the two sessions.

Players are encouraged to bring their bat and helmet.  Bats and helmets are provided for those who don’t have their own.
