We have one week left for players aged 9 and older to register. Thanks to those of you who have already signed up! We are hoping to welcome even more players to our Ballard ballfields this spring, so please pass along to friends already part of our league or others who may be new to baseball or softball.

If your player is 8 or under, we would love you to register now, but you have a bit more time to meet

Ballard Little League is a community-based baseball and softball program that has been active in our neighborhood for 69 years. We take great pride in teaching and modeling good baseball, softball and life skills to young players.

BLL never turns away any player who is unable to pay fees. In 2021, the local Ballard Rotary Club established a new scholarship program for players to subsidize the cost for players and their families to cover registration fees and equipment needs. To access the scholarship fund, please note it in your registration.

Some key dates to note for registration and the start of the season:

• February 3 (extended from January 31 st ): Registration closes for AA, AAA and Majors (both baseball and softball). A $25 late registration fee will apply after this date and your placement on a team will be subject to team availability.
• Sunday, Feb. 5: Baseball player assessments for AA, AAA and Majors will be held at the HIVE (run by
  Sting baseball program). Look for an email coming soon to sign up for time slots.
• In February (for AA and higher): All team assignments made, coaches selected, and sponsors assigned.
• Baseball Winter Clinics: We have just a few slots left! Our indoor Baseball Winter Clinics will be held every Saturday from January 14th to February 25th from 1:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. for 15 players each hour. Please use this google sheet to sign up. Only 2023 registered players levels AA and up are allowed to sign up.
• January and February Sundays:Softball Winter Clinics will run on Sundays from Sunday, January 22nd to February 26th . The clinics, for players AA and above, will be located at City Baseball in Magnolia just across the Ballard Bridge.
• March 15th: Registration closes for Tee-Ball and A. A $25 late registration fee will apply after this date and your placement on a team will be subject to team availability.
• In late March (for Tee-Ball and A): All team assignments made, coaches selected, and sponsors assigned.
