Thank you for a great 2025 season!
This season, we had 478 players on 39 teams, playing over 360 games. That incredible volume of play is only possible because of our amazing community:
* 95 coaches
* 12 adult umpires and 35 junior umpires
* 25 board members working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly
If your player wants to keep playing, Summer Ball starts soon! We’ll host teams for AAA and Majors levels. It’s a great way to enjoy a more relaxed, fun summer season.
We’re also proud to share the winners of this year’s Larry Aylward Team Sportsmanship Awards, named in honor of a founding father and longtime President of Ballard Little League. This award reflects how a team plays, cheers, and treats others—with respect, humility, and heart.
🏆 AA – Kite Café
Head coaches: Jeffrey Olds & Derek Punsalan
🏆 AAA – Jackson Design Build
Head Coach: Jared Cortese
🏆 Majors – Napoleon
Head Coach: Tony Magnano
We also want to recognize our 2025 Championship Game Winners:
* Softball Majors – Barking Dog: Took 2nd place in the city league championship!
* AA baseball - Ronnie’s Giardiniera took home the trophy, winning 3-2
* AAA baseball – Ballard Mailbox Pound Hounds: Won their championship game 12–4
* Majors baseball – Ballard Nordics Won their game 5–3
Finally, don’t forget about All-Stars, our summer tournament season for players ages 8–14. Tryouts happened in May, and teams are preparing now for tournament play through July. It’s a competitive and exciting part of Little League—thank you to everyone participating and supporting! We will send out an email soon with game details if you want to come support our All Stars players in Woodinville.
Thank you again for being part of this incredible community. Ballard Little League is about more than baseball—it’s about building teamwork, character, and connection. Registration for the 2026 season will open around Thanksgiving time. We’re grateful to do it with all of you.
See you at the field,
Sarah Blohm, 2023–2025 BLL President
Lesley Krokower, Incoming BLL President
