BLL Picture Day and Hit-A-Thon, Sunday, May 4
We’re excited to again offer team and individual player photos to help capture memories of this year’s season. In addition to picture day, we are hosting a fun fundraising event for each team, a Hit-A-Thon!
What: Picture Day and Hit-A-Thon
When: Sunday, May 4
Time: Your coach will have your team time, sometime between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Where: Gilman Park Ballfield, Field 1
BLL Hit-A-Thon
The Hit-A-Thon is Ballard Little League’s main fundraiser. We rely on these donations to help with the costs of scholarships, field rental fees, equipment, uniforms, tournaments, safety, and much more. We hope that each player and family will participate, whether they raise $1 or $1000. We use 99Pledges, find your player’s fundraising page:
https://app.99pledges.com/
fund/2025hitath4
How the Hit-A-Thon works:
· Players collect donations weeks prior to the Hit-A-Thon Date (we suggest just a flat fee)
· On the day of the Hit-A-Thon, each player will have the chance to hit 3 balls (after photos are taken)
· The longest hit will be recorded for prizes.
Prizes will be awarded at our end of year picnic for:
· Division winners for distance
· Top 3 Individual Fundraisers
· Top 2 fundraising teams will receive a pizza party
Volunteers Needed! We need volunteers throughout the day to shag balls and record distances. Please volunteer to help during your team’s “at-bat” or longer. Teens are encouraged to volunteer and will get service hours.
BLL Picture Day
We will send out information on how to order photos closer to picture day. See below for your team’s time slot. We ask you to arrive 15 minutes in advance, to help keep us on schedule. In addition to your team photo - which we give our sponsors - you can also take individual photos. Please wear your full uniform, hat and bring your bat to use as a prop!
