Baseball Assessments Info and Sign Up Sheet
On February 6th, BLL will hold its annual assessments for AA, AAA and Majors baseball. Assessments are fun, casual and used to create team parity. Sign up times and details are below:
- The assessment location is at an indoor baseball facility owned by City Baseball. So, the assessments will be rain or shine since they are indoors. The facility 100% requires that everyone wears a mask per their COVID protocol.
- Tennis shoes or turf shoes will be just fine to wear. We highly encourage cup wearing for male players.
- Players and parents will check in at the front to get registered. They will get a number to wear that identifies their age and number for assessment. Players will field, throw and hit. Each session will last 40 minutes and have about 15 kids in each session.
- You are welcome to drop your player off and come back or wait in your car. There is a small waiting area in the front but physical distancing might be difficult.
- BLL put up its batting cages at Gilman Field yesterday to offer players a chance to knock the rust off sometime this week. The cages are first come, first serve and you have to bring your own helmet, baseballs and bat.
- If you have questions, please contact Eleanor Jacka at
